When you meet me or write to me, you can call me Beth. My illustrator is Beth, too. A friend of mine calls us "Beth Squared" (or to the second power as in math). It's just funny. After I finished Foxy Tail, I wanted to write more about my characters. My illustrator was also interested in making more of my characters come to life through her work. Foxy Tail The Search

In this exciting first sequel to Foxy Tail, two unlikely close friends, a red fox and a cat, resembling a red fox, join forces to find a lost fox kit and kitten. Ben, a good natured farm house cat is second in charge of the barn cats at Copeland farm. Word gets out that the leader cat's youngest kitten is missing. Ignoring severe scrutiny from the barn cats, Ben seeks help from his fox friend, Lennox. Unfortunately, Ben soon discovers Lennox is also missing his youngest kit. Forced out of his den by earth movers, Lennox and his remaining family join Ben on a quest to find little Patches and Dickens. Along the way, they encounter crafty crows eager to share their secrets of the kit and kitten's whereabouts in exchange for a deal. Two new members of the search party, a cowboy cat named Cody and his best friend, Charlie the horse, join them. ​Lennox's oldest fox kit Lewis is falsely accused by the farm animals of a terrible crime. To calm things down, Cowboy Cat Cody takes Lewis away on a horse trailer headed west to another ranch.
